Thoroughly enjoyed our calligraphy experience with Lucy. Exceeded all expectations. Lucy is very kind and welcoming. We loved learning some of the history behind calligraphy as well as being able to practise and create a Chinese calligraphy fan/scroll. Lucy was very helpful with directions prior to the session and replied to our messages on WeChat. A great memory to take home – thank you!”

Lucy did a wonderful job explaining the history of calligraphy in a compelling way that gave me a new appreciation for learning Chinese characters. When it came to the practical exercises, she was extremely patient and helpful in showing us how to trace our first characters. This introductory course was a great experience and window to Chinese culture!
