This was an awesome class! I have a new appreciation for Chinese art now. I didn’t realize it is so accessible and enjoyable! Lucy did a great job laying out the fundamentals and then giving us lots of time to practice. I didn’t feel rushed at all and I was really happy with my final result.

Lucy’s enthusiasm towards Chinese painting immediately grasped my attention, making me want to learn more. Her vast knowledge on the subject was equally well balanced by her patience and simple explanations of the different types of materials, strokes, and styles used to create this art. In her class I felt safe, unrushed, and open to experimenting with this new art form!
